It is with a deeply saddened heart and great regret, that we inform all of our family at Javery Pain Institute as well as our patients of the recent passing of Patricia Boggs. Known to all of us as “Pat”, she was the beautiful person with her beaming smile and welcoming persona that our patients experienced when they came to us for help. As manager of our reception and front desk, she was quite literally the “first face” of JPI. But we will mostly remember and miss her smile, her comedic wit and beautiful soul.
No matter the situation, Pat always managed to welcome everyone she registered into our clinic with her wonderful smile and genuine giving “heartfulness”.
Pat always radiated a warm, loving sense of welcome to those who came in despair, fear and pain. Yet with her special charm, and unique whimsical loving aura, those that had the privilege of knowing Pat, have first hand knowledge that our family and our community has lost a unique loving, humble, witty, and cheerful soul.
She literally was the “first face” of Pain Management in Grand Rapids. For nearly three decades she welcomed those in need for dozens of current and past practicing pain specialists in our community, having managed the front desk/reception areas of not only Javery Pain Institute, but of two additional pain treatment centers in years past. She has literally welcomed and matriculated hundreds of thousands of suffering pain patients and with her own special God-given gifts, she genuinely was able to help countless thousands of persons in some of their darkest hours.
I for one can’t imagine a pain clinic without her…
I had the pleasure of working with Pat for more than 25 years. When it is said someone “will be missed“ it is often a cliché, but for anyone that knew Pat, this statement is profoundly lacking. She will be ever missed by her extensive family, including those of us who were her “work family“ and thousands of others.
Funeral details can be found here.
God speed Pat.
